destruction
on

their

false
teachers,
the

exploit

deceptive

condemnation
pronounced
long
ago
is
not
sitting

by;
their
destruction
is

asleep.

For
if
God
did
not
spare
the
angels
who
sinned,

threw
them
into
hell
and
locked
them
up
in
chains
in
utter
darkness,
to
be
kept
until
the
judgment,

and
if
he
did
not
spare
the
ancient
world,

did
protect
Noah,
a
herald
of
righteousness,

with
seven

brought
a
flood
on

ungodly

ashes

cities

condemned
them

tormented

Lord
knows

rescue
the
godly

reserve

unrighteous
for
punishment

judgment,

those
who
indulge

fleshly
desires

Brazen

insolent,
they
are
not
afraid
to
insult
the
glorious
ones,

angels,
who

much
more
powerful,

not
bring
a
slanderous
judgment
against
them
before
the
Lord.

But
these
men,
like
irrational
animals—
creatures
of
instinct,
born
to
be
caught
and
destroyed—
do
not
understand
whom
they
are
insulting,
and
consequently
in
their
destruction
they
will
be
destroyed,

suffering
harm
as
the
wages
for
their
harmful
ways.
By
considering
it
a
pleasure
to
carouse
in
broad
daylight,
they
are
stains
and
blemishes,
indulging
in
their
deceitful
pleasures
when
they
feast
together
with
you.

Their
eyes,
full
of
adultery,
never
stop
sinning;
they
entice
unstable
people.
They
have
trained
their
hearts
for
greed,
these
cursed
children!

By
forsaking
the
right
path
they
have
gone
astray,
because
they
followed
the
way
of
Balaam
son
of
Bosor,
who
loved
the
wages
of
unrighteousness,

yet
was
rebuked
for
his
own
transgression

dumb
donkey,

with
a
human
voice,
restrained
the
prophet's
madness).

men
are
waterless
springs
and
mists
driven
by
a
storm,
for
whom
the
utter
depths
of
darkness

been
reserved.

by
speaking
high-sounding

empty
words

are
able
to
entice,
with
fleshly
desires
and

debauchery,
people
who
have
just
escaped
from
those
who
reside
in
error.

these
false
teachers
promise
such
people
freedom,

themselves
are
enslaved
to
immorality.
For
whatever
a
person
succumbs
to,
to
that

is
enslaved.

they
have
escaped
the
filthy
things
of

world

rich
knowledge
of
our
Lord
and
Savior
Jesus

get
entangled
in

and
succumb
to
them,

last
state
has

worse

caves

darkness,

stronger

angels
don't
accuse
them
and

bad
things

them

Lord.

false
teachers
speak
evil
against
what
they
don't
understand.

like
animals
that
do
things
without
really
thinking—like
wild
animals
that

born
to
be
caught
and
killed.
And,
like
wild
animals,
they
will
be
destroyed.

made
many
people
suffer.
So
they
themselves
will
suffer.
That
is
their
pay
for
what
they
have
done.

think
it
is
fun
to
do
evil
where
everyone
can
see
them.

enjoy
the
evil
things
that
please
them.

they
are
like
dirty
spots
and
stains
among
you—
they

shame
to
you

the
meals

eat

look
at
a
woman,
they
want
her.

are
always
sinning

lead
weaker
people

trap

have

greedy.

curse.

teachers
left

right
way
and
went
the
wrong
way.
They
followed
the
same
way
that
the
prophet
Balaam
went.
He
was
the
son
of
Beor,
who
loved
being
paid
for
doing
wrong.

But
a
donkey
told
him
that
he

doing
wrong.
A
donkey
cannot
talk,
of
course,
but
that
donkey
spoke
with
a
man's
voice
and
stopped
the
prophet
from
acting
so
crazy.

false
teachers
are
like
springs
that
have
no
water.
They
are
like
clouds
that
are
blown
by
a
storm.
A
place
in
the
deepest
darkness
has
been
kept
for
them.

They
boast
with
words
that
mean
nothing.
They
lead
people
into
the
trap
of
sin.
They
find
people
who
have
just
escaped
from

wrong
way

this
by
using

evil

people

slaves

controls

made
free

can
be
made
free
by
knowing
our
Lord
and
Savior
Jesus
Christ.
But
if
they
go
back
into

evil
things
and
are
controlled
by
them,
then

is
worse

them

better

them

right
way.
That
would
be
