1. A PRAYER OF THE PROPHET AMBACUM, WITH A SONG.

2. O Lord, I have heard thy report, and was afraid: I considered thy works, and was amazed: thou shalt be known between the two living creatures, thou shalt be acknowledged when the years draw nigh; thou shalt be manifested when the time is come; when my soul is troubled, thou wilt in wrath remember mercy.
2. O LORD H3068 , I have heard H8085 thy speech H8088 , and was afraid H3372 : O LORD H3068 , revive H2421 thy work H6467 in the midst H7130 of the years H8141 , in the midst H7130 of the years H8141 make known H3045 ; in wrath H7267 remember H2142 mercy H7355 .

11. The sun was exalted, and the moon stood still in her course: thy darts shall go forth at the light, at the brightness of the gleaming of thine arms.

12. Thou wilt bring low the land with threatening, and in wrath thou wilt break down the nations.

14. Thou didst cut asunder the heads of princes with amazement, they shall tremble in it; they shall burst their bridles, they shall be as a poor man devouring in secret.
14. Thou didst strike through H5344 with his staves H4294 the head H7218 of his villages H6518 : they came out as a whirlwind H5590 to scatter H6327 me : their rejoicing H5951 was as H3644 to devour H398 the poor H6041 secretly H4565 .
15. And thou dost cause thine horses to enter the sea, disturbing much water.

16. I watched, and my belly trembled at the sound of the prayer of my lips, and trembling entered into my bones, and my frame was troubled within Lit. under me me; I will rest in the day of affliction, from going up to the people of my sojourning.

17. For though the fig-tree shall bear no fruit, and there shall be no produce on the vines; the labour of the olive shall Lit. deceive fail, and the fields shall produce no food: the sheep have failed from the pasture, and there are no oxen at the cribs;

Although H3588 the fig tree H8384 shall not H3808 blossom H6524 , neither H369 shall fruit H2981 be in the vines H1612 ; the labor H4639 of the olive H2132 shall fail H3584 , and the fields H7709 shall yield H6213 no H3808 meat H400 ; the flock H6629 shall be cut off H1504 from the fold H4480 H4356 , and there shall be no H369 herd H1241 in the stalls H7517 :
18. yet I will exult in the Lord, I will joy in God my Saviour.
18. Yet I H589 will rejoice H5937 in the LORD H3068 , I will joy H1523 in the God H430 of my salvation H3468 .
19. The Lord God is my strength, and he will perfectly strengthen my feet; he mounts me upon high places, that I may conquer by his song.
19. The LORD H3068 God H136 is my strength H2428 , and he will make H7760 my feet H7272 like hinds H355 ' feet , and he will make me to walk H1869 upon H5921 mine high places H1116 . To the chief singer H5329 on my stringed instruments H5058 .
