1 लगभग एक महीने बाद अम्मोनी नाहाश और उसकी सेना ने याबेश गिलाद को घरे लिया। याबेश के सभी लोगों ने नाहाश से कहा, “यदि तुम हमारे साथ सन्धि करोगे तो हम तुम्हारी प्रजा बनेंगे।”
