8 परमेश्वर के जन (एलीशा) ने सुना कि इस्राएल का राजा परेशान है और उसने अपने वस्त्र फाड़ डाले हैं। एलीशा ने अपना सन्देश राजा के पास भेजाः “तुमने अपने वस्त्र क्यों फाड़े नामान को मेरे पास आने दो। तब वह समझेगा कि इस्राएल में कोई नबी भी है।”

ERVTA   அரசன் வருத்தப்பட்டுத் தன் ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துக்கொண்டதைப்பற்றி தேவமனிதனான எலிசா அறிந்தான். உடனே தன் தூதுவனை அனுப்பி, "ஏன் உங்கள் ஆடைகளைக் கிழித்துகொண்டீர்கள், நாகமானை என்னிடம் அனுப்புங்கள். அப்போதுதான் அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேலில் ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி இருக்கிறார் என்பதைத் தெரிந்துக்கொள்வார்கள்!" என்று தெரிவித்தான்.

ERVTE   ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు తన వస్త్రమును చింపుకొనిన సంగతి దైవజనుడైన ఎలీషాకు తెలిసినపుడు క్రింది సందేశాన్ని రాజు పంపాడు: “మీరు మీ దుస్తులు ఎందుకు చింపివేసుకోన్నారు? నయమానుని నా వద్దకు పంపండి. అప్పుడుతను ఇశ్రాయేలులో ఒక ప్రవక్త ఉన్నటు తెలుసు కుంటాడు.”
