1. and the Lord spoke to Moses after the two sons of Aaron died in bringing strange fire before the Lord, so they died.	1. And the LORD ^H3068 spoke ^H1696 unto ^H413 Moses ^H4872 after ^H310 the death ^H4194 of the two ^H8147 sons ^H1121 of Aaron ^H175 , when they offered ^H7126 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , and died ^H4191 ;
2. And the Lord said to Moses, Speak to Aaron thy brother, and let him not come in at all times into the holy place within the veil before the propitiatory, which is upon the ark of the testimony, and he shall not die; for I will appear in a cloud on the propitiatory.	2. And the LORD ^H3068 said ^H559 unto ^H413 Moses ^H4872 , Speak ^H1696 unto ^H413 Aaron ^H175 thy brother ^H251 , that he come ^H935 not ^H408 at all ^H3605 times ^H6256 into ^H413 the holy ^H6944 place within ^H4480 ^H1004 the veil ^H6532 before ^H413 ^H6440 the mercy seat ^H3727 , which ^H834 is upon ^H5921 the ark ^H727 ; that he die ^H4191 not ^H3808 : for ^H3588 I will appear ^H7200 in the cloud ^H6051 upon ^H5921 the mercy seat ^H3727 .
3. Thus shall Aaron enter into the holy place; with a calf of the herd for a sin-offering, and having a ram for a whole-burnt-offering.	3. *Thus ^H2063 shall Aaron ^H175 come ^H935 into ^H413 the holy ^H6944 place* : with a young ^H1121 ^H1241 bullock ^H6499 for a sin offering ^H2403 , and a ram ^H352 for a burnt offering ^H5930 .**
4. And he shall put on the consecrated linen tunic, and he shall have on his flesh the linen drawers, and shall gird himself with a linen girdle, and shall put on the linen cap, they are holy garments; and he shall bathe all his body in water, and shall put them on.	4. He shall put on ^H3847 the holy ^H6944 linen ^H906 coat ^H3801 , and he shall have ^H1961 the linen ^H906 breeches ^H4370 upon ^H5921 his flesh ^H1320 , and shall be girded ^H2296 with a linen ^H906 girdle ^H73 , and with the linen ^H906 miter ^H4701 shall he be attired ^H6801 : these ^H1992 are holy ^H6944 garments ^H899 ; therefore shall he wash ^H7364 ^H853 his flesh ^H1320 in water ^H4325 , and so put them on ^H3847 .
5. And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin-offering, and one lamb for a whole-burnt-offering.	5. And he shall take ^H3947 of ^H4480 ^H854 the congregation ^H5712 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 two ^H8147 kids ^H8163 of the goats ^H5795 for a sin offering ^H2403 , and one ^H259 ram ^H352 for a burnt offering ^H5930 .
6. And Aaron shall bring the calf for his own sin-offering, and shall make atonement for himself and for his house.	6. And Aaron ^H175 shall offer ^H7126 ^H853 his bullock ^H6499 of the sin offering ^H2403 , which ^H834 is for himself , and make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H1157 himself , and for ^H1157 his house ^H1004 .
7. And he shall take the two goats, and place them before the Lord by the door of the tabernacle of witness.	7. And he shall take ^H3947 ^H853 the two ^H8147 goats ^H8163 , and present ^H5975 them before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 at the door ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 .
8. and Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the Lord, and the other for the scape-goat.	8. And Aaron ^H175 shall cast ^H5414 lots ^H1486 upon ^H5921 the two ^H8147 goats ^H8163 ; one ^H259 lot ^H1486 for the LORD ^H3068 , and the other ^H259 lot ^H1486 for the scapegoat ^H5799 .
9. And Aaron shall bring forward the goat on which the lot for the Lord fell, and shall offer him for a sin-offering.	9. *And Aaron ^H175 shall bring ^H7126 ^H853 the goat ^H8163 upon ^H5921 which ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 's lot ^H1486 fell ^H5927 , and offer ^H6213 him for* a sin offering ^H2403 .**
10. and the goat upon which the lot of the scape-goat came, he shall present alive before the Lord, to make atonement upon him, so as to send him away Gr. for the dismissal as a scape-goat, and he shall send him into the wilderness.	10. But the goat ^H8163 , on ^H5921 which ^H834 the lot ^H1486 fell ^H5927 to be the scapegoat ^H5799 , shall be presented ^H5975 alive ^H2416 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , to make an atonement ^H3722 with ^H5921 him, and to let him go ^H7971 ^H853 for a scapegoat ^H5799 into the wilderness ^H4057 .
11. And Aaron shall bring the calf for his sin, and he shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and he shall kill the calf for his sin-offering.	11. And Aaron ^H175 shall bring ^H7126 ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 of the sin offering ^H2403 , which ^H834 is for himself , and shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H1157 himself , and for ^H1157 his house ^H1004 , and shall kill ^H7819 ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 of the sin offering ^H2403 which ^H834 is for himself:
12. And he shall take his censer full of coals of fire off the altar, which is before the Lord; and he shall fill his hands with fine compound incense, and shall bring it within the veil.	12. And he shall take ^H3947 a censer ^H4289 full ^H4393 of burning coals ^H1513 of fire ^H784 from off ^H4480 ^H5921 the altar ^H4196 before ^H4480 ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , and his hands ^H2651 full ^H4393 of sweet ^H5561 incense ^H7004 beaten small ^H1851 , and bring ^H935 it within ^H4480 ^H1004 the veil ^H6532 :
13. *And he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, and the smoke of the incense shall cover the mercy-seat over the Gr.* testimonies tables of testimony, and he shall not die.**	13. And he shall put ^H5414 ^H853 the incense ^H7004 upon ^H5921 the fire ^H784 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , that the cloud ^H6051 of the incense ^H7004 may cover ^H3680 ^H853 the mercy seat ^H3727 that ^H834 is upon ^H5921 the testimony ^H5715 , that he die ^H4191 not ^H3808 :
14. And he shall take of the blood of the calf, and sprinkle with his finger on the mercy-seat eastward: before the mercy-seat shall he sprinkle seven times of the blood with his finger.	14. And he shall take ^H3947 of the blood ^H4480 ^H1818 of the bullock ^H6499 , and sprinkle ^H5137 it with his finger ^H676 upon ^H5921 ^H6440 the mercy seat ^H3727 eastward ^H6924 ; and before ^H6440 the mercy seat ^H3727 shall he sprinkle ^H5137 of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 with his finger ^H676 seven ^H7651 times ^H6471 .
15. and he shall kill the goat for the sin-offering that is for the people, before the Lord; and he shall bring in of its blood within the veil, and shall do with its blood as he did with the blood of the calf, and shall sprinkle its blood on the mercy-seat, in front of the mercy-seat.	15. Then shall he kill ^H7819 ^H853 the goat ^H8163 of the sin offering ^H2403 , that ^H834 is for the people ^H5971 , and bring ^H935 ^H853 his blood ^H1818 within ^H413 ^H4480 ^H1004 the veil ^H6532 , and do ^H6213 with ^H854 that blood ^H1818 as ^H834 he did ^H6213 with the blood ^H1818 of the bullock ^H6499 , and sprinkle ^H5137 it upon ^H5921 the mercy seat ^H3727 , and before ^H6440 the mercy seat ^H3727 :
16. and he shall make atonement for the sanctuary on account of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and for their trespasses in the matter of all their sins; and thus shall he do to the tabernacle of witness established among them in the midst of their uncleanness.	16. And he shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 the holy ^H6944 place , because of the uncleanness ^H4480 ^H2932 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 , and because of their transgressions ^H4480 ^H6588 in all ^H3605 their sins ^H2403 : and so ^H3651 shall he do ^H6213 for the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 , that remaineth ^H7931 among ^H854 them in the midst ^H8432 of their uncleanness ^H2932 .
17. and there shall be no man in the tabernacle of witness, when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place, until he shall have come out; and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and for all the congregation of the children of Israel.	17. And there shall be ^H1961 no ^H3808 ^H3605 man ^H120 in the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 when he goeth in ^H935 to make an atonement ^H3722 in the holy ^H6944 place , until ^H5704 he come out ^H3318 , and have made an atonement ^H3722 for ^H1157 himself , and for ^H1157 his household ^H1004 , and for ^H1157 all ^H3605 the congregation ^H6951 of Israel ^H3478 .
18. And he shall come forth to the altar that is before the Lord, and he shall make atonement upon it; and he shall take of the blood of the calf, and of the blood of the goat, and shall put it on the horns of the altar round about.	18. And he shall go out ^H3318 unto ^H413 the altar ^H4196 that ^H834 is before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , and make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 it ; and shall take ^H3947 of the blood ^H4480 ^H1818 of the bullock ^H6499 , and of the blood ^H4480 ^H1818 of the goat ^H8163 , and put ^H5414 it upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 round about ^H5439 .
19. And he shall sprinkle some of the blood upon it seven times with his finger, and shall purge it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.	19. And he shall sprinkle ^H5137 of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 upon ^H5921 it with his finger ^H676 seven ^H7651 times ^H6471 , and cleanse ^H2891 it , and hallow ^H6942 it from the uncleanness ^H4480 ^H2932 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 .
20. And he shall finish making atonement for the sanctuary and for the tabernacle of witness, and for the altar; and he shall make a cleansing for the priests, and he shall bring the living goat;	20. And when he hath made an end ^H3615 of reconciling ^H4480 ^H3722 ^H853 the holy ^H6944 place , and the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 , and the altar ^H4196 , he shall bring ^H7126 ^H853 the live ^H2416 goat ^H8163 :
21. and Aaron shall lay his hands on the head of the live goat, and he shall declare over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their unrighteousness, and all their sins; and he shall lay them upon the head of the live goat, and shall send him by the hand of a ready man into the wilderness.	21. And Aaron ^H175 shall lay ^H5564 ^H853 both ^H8147 his hands ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the live ^H2416 goat ^H8163 , and confess ^H3034 over ^H5921 him ^H853 all ^H3605 the iniquities ^H5771 of the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 , and all ^H3605 their transgressions ^H6588 in all ^H3605 their sins ^H2403 , putting ^H5414 them upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the goat ^H8163 , and shall send him away ^H7971 by the hand ^H3027 of a fit ^H6261 man ^H376 into the wilderness ^H4057 :
22. And the goat shall bear their unrighteousnesses upon him into a desert land; and Aaron shall send away the goat into the wilderness.	22. And the goat ^H8163 shall bear ^H5375 upon ^H5921 him ^H853 all ^H3605 their iniquities ^H5771 unto ^H413 a land ^H776 not inhabited ^H1509 : and he shall let go ^H7971 ^H853 the goat ^H8163 in the wilderness ^H4057 .
23. And Aaron shall enter into the tabernacle of witness, and shall put off the linen garment, which he had put on, as he entered into the holy place, and shall lay it by there.	23. And Aaron ^H175 shall come ^H935 into ^H413 the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 , and shall put off ^H6584 ^H853 the linen ^H906 garments ^H899 , which ^H834 he put on ^H3847 when he went ^H935 into ^H413 the holy ^H6944 place , and shall leave ^H5117 them there ^H8033 :
24. And he shall bathe his body in water in the holy place, and shall put on his raiment, and shall go out and offer the whole-burnt-offering for himself and the whole-burnt-offering for the people: and shall make atonement for himself and for his house, and for the people, as for the priests.	24. And he shall wash ^H7364 ^H853 his flesh ^H1320 with water ^H4325 in the holy ^H6918 place ^H4725 , and put on ^H3847 ^H853 his garments ^H899 , and come forth ^H3318 , and offer ^H6213 ^H853 his burnt offering ^H5930 , and the burnt offering ^H5930 of the people ^H5971 , and make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H1157 himself , and for ^H1157 the people ^H5971 .
25. And he shall offer the fat for the sin-offering on the altar.	25. And the fat ^H2459 of the sin offering ^H2403 shall he burn ^H6999 upon the altar ^H4196 .
26. And he that sends forth the goat that has been set apart to be let go, shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and afterwards shall enter into the camp.	26. And he that let go ^H7971 ^H853 the goat ^H8163 for the scapegoat ^H5799 shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 , and bathe ^H7364 ^H853 his flesh ^H1320 in water ^H4325 , and afterward ^H310 ^H3651 come ^H935 into ^H413 the camp ^H4264 .
27. And the calf for the sin-offering, and the goat for the sin-offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, they shall carry forth out of the camp, and burn them with fire, even their skins and their flesh and their dung.	27. And the bullock ^H6499 for the sin offering ^H2403 , and the goat ^H8163 for the sin offering ^H2403 , ^H853 whose ^H834 blood ^H1818 was brought in ^H935 to make atonement ^H3722 in the holy ^H6944 place , shall one carry forth ^H3318 without ^H413 ^H4480 ^H2351 the camp ^H4264 ; and they shall burn ^H8313 in the fire ^H784 ^H853 their skins ^H5785 , and their flesh ^H1320 , and their dung ^H6569 .
28. And he that burns them shall wash his garments, and bathe his body in water, and afterwards he shall enter into the camp.	28. And he that burneth ^H8313 them shall wash ^H3526 his clothes ^H899 , and bathe ^H7364 ^H853 his flesh ^H1320 in water ^H4325 , and afterward ^H310 ^H3651 he shall come ^H935 into ^H413 the camp ^H4264 .
29. And this shall be a perpetual statute for you; in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall humble your souls, and shall do no work, the native and the stranger who Or, attaches himself to you; en in LXX, and N. T. has frequently a Hebraistic signification abides among you.	29. And this shall be ^H1961 a statute ^H2708 forever ^H5769 unto you: that in the seventh ^H7637 month ^H2320 , on the tenth ^H6218 day of the month ^H2320 , ye shall afflict ^H6031 ^H853 your souls ^H5315 , and do ^H6213 no ^H3808 work ^H4399 at all ^H3605 , whether it be one of your own country ^H249 , or a stranger ^H1616 that sojourneth ^H1481 among ^H8432 you:
30. For in this day he shall make an atonement for you, to cleanse you from all your sins before the Lord, and ye shall be purged.	30. For ^H3588 on that ^H2088 day ^H3117 shall the priest make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 you , to cleanse ^H2891 you, that ye may be clean ^H2891 from all ^H4480 ^H3605 your sins ^H2403 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 .
31. *This shall be to you a Gr.* sabbath of sabbaths, or week of weeks most holy sabbath, a rest, and ye shall humble your souls; it is a perpetual ordinance.**	31. *It ^H1931 shall* be a sabbath ^H7676 of rest ^H7677 unto you , and ye shall afflict ^H6031 ^H853 your souls ^H5315 , by a statute ^H2708 forever ^H5769 .**
32. The priest whomsoever they shall anoint shall make atonement, and Gr. whosesoever hands they shall accomplish; Heb. to fill hands whomsoever they shall consecrate to exercise the priestly office after his father; and he shall put on the linen robe, the holy garment.	32. And the priest ^H3548 , whom ^H834 he shall anoint ^H4886 , and whom ^H834 he shall consecrate ^H4390 ^H853 ^H3027 to minister in the priest's office ^H3547 in his father's stead ^H8478 ^H1 , shall make the atonement ^H3722 , and shall put on ^H3847 ^H853 the linen ^H906 clothes ^H899 , even the holy ^H6944 garments ^H899 :

And he shall make atonement for the most holy place, and the tabernacle of witness; and he shall make atonement for the altar, and for the priests; and he shall make atonement for all the congregation.	33. And he shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H853 the holy ^H6944 sanctuary ^H4720 , and he shall make an atonement ^H3722 for the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 , and for the altar ^H4196 , and he shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 the priests ^H3548 , and for ^H5921 all ^H3605 the people ^H5971 of the congregation ^H6951 .
34. *And this shall be to you a perpetual statute to make atonement for the children of Israel Gr.* from for all their sins: it shall be done once in the year, as the Lord commanded Moses.**	34. And this ^H2063 shall be ^H1961 an everlasting ^H5769 statute ^H2708 unto you , to make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 for all ^H4480 ^H3605 their sins ^H2403 once ^H259 a year ^H8141 . And he did ^H6213 as ^H834 the LORD ^H3068 commanded ^H6680 ^H853 Moses ^H4872 .
