ERVTE   తర్వాత యోహాను శిష్యులు వచ్చి, యేసును, “మేము, పరిసయ్యులు ఉపవాసం చేస్తాం కదా; మరి మీ శిష్యులు ఉపవాసం ఎందుకు చెయ్యరు?” అని అడిగారు.
IRVTE   అప్పుడు యోహాను శిష్యులు ఆయన దగ్గరికి వచ్చి, “పరిసయ్యులూ మేమూ తరచుగా ఉపవాసం ఉంటాము గానీ నీ శిష్యులు ఉపవాసం ఉండరెందుకు?” అని ఆయనను అడిగారు.

ERVKN   ನಂತರ ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಯೇಸುವಿಗೆ, “ನಾವು ಮತ್ತು ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಆಗಾಗ್ಗೆ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಏಕೆ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.
IRVKN   ನಂತರ ಯೋಹಾನನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ಫರಿಸಾಯರೂ ನಾವೂ ಬಹಳಸಾರಿ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಏಕೆ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ,
