1 तेरी पुकार का यहोवा उत्तर दे, और जब तू विपति में हो तो याकूब का परमेश्वर तेरे नाम को बढ़ाये।
2 परमेश्वर अपने पवित्रस्थान से तेरी सहायता करे। वह तुझको सिय्योन से सहारा देवे।
3 परमेश्वर तेरी सब भेंटों को याद रखे, और तेरे सब बलिदानों को स्वीकार करें।
4 परमेश्वर तुझे उन सभी वस्तुओं को देवे जिन्हें तू सचमुच चाहे। वह तेरी सभी योजनाएँ पूरी करें।
5 परमेश्वर जब तेरी सहायता करे हम अति प्रसन्न हों और हम परमेश्वर की बढ़ाई के गीत गायें। जो कुछ भी तुम माँगों यहोवा तुम्हें उसे दे।
6 मैं अब जानता हूँ कि यहोवा सहायता करता है अपने उस राजा की जिसको उसने चुना। परमेश्वर तो अपने पवित्र स्वर्ग में विराजा है और उसने अपने चुने हुए राजा को, उत्तर दिया उस राजा की रक्षा करने के लिये परमेश्वर अपनी महाशक्ति को प्रयोग में लाता है।
7 कुछ को भरोसा अपने रथों पर है, और कुछ को निज सैनिकों पर भरोसा है किन्तु हम तो अपने यहोवा परमेश्वर को स्मरण करते हैं।
8 किन्तु वे लोग तो पराजित और युद्ध में मारे गये किन्तु हम जीते और हम विजयी रहे।
9 ऐसा कैसा हुआ क्योंकि यहोवा ने अपने चुने हुए राजा की रक्षा की उसने परमेश्वर को पुकारा था और परमेश्वर ने उसकी सुनी।
